We will be sharing a tent with our friends from Aurora Waldorf School in the KidsFest area at the Elmwood Avenue Festival of the Arts.Slow and patient is our theme. The Majestic Snail is our mascot. While our dominant culture glorifies all things fast, Kidsfest is putting slow on the pedestal. What is valuable about slow? It feels calm, not frenetic.
So parents sit back on a comfy bale of hay while the tots socialize with felted snales in a mini snail paradise.
